Clothing technology

KNEC Clothing technology is a course under technical education programme(TEP).This is a 3 year diploma course that aims to equip learners with technical skills in fashion design and garment making technology. Qualification to pursue Knec clothing technology is a pass in relevant craft course OR KCSE mean grade C-(minus) OR any other equivalent qualification approved by KNEC. Career opportunities in clothing technology include; Fashion design, Fashion merchandiser, garment cutting, textile designer, garment construction technologist, sample maker, instructor researcher. Graduates of this course can also choose to further their education at degree levels or can choose to be self employed.
