Diploma in Food and Beverage management(TVET)

This is 3 year KNEC course under technical and vocational education training(TVET) which aims to impact learners with technical as well as management skills in food and beverage management and production. Qualification to pursue this course is a minimum  KCSE mean grade C- (minus) OR a pass in relevant craft course OR any other qualification which KNEC may approve for you. Career opportunities in food and beverage management are cook, waiter/waitress, restaurant supervisor, teacher and self employment.

Diploma in Food and Beverage management(TEP)

This is a 3 year KNEC course under technical education programme(TEP) which aims to impact learners with technical as well as management skills in production of food and beverages. Qualification to pursue diploma in food and beverage management(TEP) is a minimum KCSE mean grade C-(minus) OR a pass in relevant related craft course. Career opportunities in diploma in food and beverage management(TEP) are room supervisor, kitchen supervisor, restaurant supervisor, room attendant, waiter/waitress, teaching and self employent in food and beverage production industry. A successful graduate in this course can also proceed to university for a degree in food and beverage or related fields.
