Students from pp2  joins lower primary after completing 2 years in pre-primary.During this period,the basic skills they have acquired while in pre-primary are used to expand their learning experience given the fact that by now,they have acquired basic literacy skills to grasp more detailed content of lower primary.  This section provides e-resources for lower primary unit comprising of grade 1,grade 2 and grade 3,the materials are organized in such a way that it is easy to find what you require.The resources can be utilized by anyone in line with CBC lower primary section.

• English Language Activities
• Environmental Activities
• Hygiene and Nutrition Activities
• ICT will be integrated at all levels and in all subjects. Emerging and contemporary issues will also be integrated

The  two main approaches to apply when dealing with lower primary class are:

Lower primary students needs to have fun for them to be able to learn.If you are not having fun,then it will be difficult for them to learn.You should also give them the confidence that you own the professional skills. Your confidence will give the young children the happy feeling that they really can learn what you are teaching them. It is also recommended that  teachers of lower primary share the same mother tongue with their learners for smooth experience.
